Mrs. McMullen - Language Arts/Social Studies
Many great people have commented on the importance of education but something John Steinbeck once said deeply resonated with me, “... Teaching might even be the greatest of the arts since the medium is the
humanmind and spirit.” I became a teacher because I wanted to learn more about the colors of the human mind and spirit. I couldn’t see myself doing anything else. Education is a conduit that allows inspiration to become
more than potential and ideas to spring into aspirations. I hope to be the type of mentor that inspires my students to stretch, grow and explore their inner readers, writers, poets, artists, inventors, and scholars.
I believe that we are never finished learning.
